A translated book that reads as one book.
Before chapter one is translated, the whole book is read: its characters, how each of them speaks, its places, its style. A name chosen on page 3 is the same name on page 300, and a character who speaks roughly in chapter 2 still speaks that way in the last chapter.

How a book is translated.
- The whole book read first.
- Its characters and how each of them speaks, its places, its style, and a brief for this book and language pair: how it must sound in the other language.
- Names fixed once.
- Characters, places and invented words get one translation each, used from the first page to the last.
- Each passage in context.
- Every passage is translated with the chapter’s summary, the passage before it and its translation in view, so the story runs on without seams.
- A second reading.
- An independent review of every passage, then proofreading of the translation on its own, as a reader would read it, then a final pass over the whole book for consistency.
- The language’s own typography.
- Quotation marks, dialogue dashes and number formats as books in the target language write them.

Questions
Which files can I upload?
Word (DOCX), PDF, Markdown and HTML files, up to 50 MB.
Can I translate a book to publish it?
You can translate any book you have the right to translate. To publish a translation of someone else’s book, you need the rights holder’s permission first.
How long does it take?
You see an estimate along with the price. You can watch the work on screen, or close the page: an email arrives when the translation is ready.
What if I find a mistake?
Open the original and the translation side by side, click any paragraph, and correct it. Your corrections are written back into the document with its layout, and you download it again. Every order includes one correction round.
Who sees my documents?
You, and anyone you invite. Files are stored encrypted with your own key. To translate them, the text goes to AI providers that work under data processing agreements and do not train on it. You can mask ID numbers, account numbers and contact details before anything is sent.
Which languages?
Over 50: the languages of Europe, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and the other main languages of India, Turkish, Persian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Swahili and more. See every language. A PDF or a scan is translated into languages written in Latin, Cyrillic or Greek letters for now; for the others, upload it as a Word file.
