Glotbee

Glotbee or Google Translate for your document?

Google Translate is fast and good for getting the gist. A contract, a certificate or a medical report needs more than a first draft: the same terms on every page, a second reading, and numbers that match the original.

Questions

When is Google Translate enough?

To understand an email, a web page or a sign in another language, Google Translate is quick and enough. Paste the text or point your phone at it, and you have the gist.

When should I use Glotbee?

For a document you will sign, file, send to an office or publish: a contract, a court document, a medical report, a certificate, a scan or a book. It is read in full first, reviewed a second time, checked against the original for numbers, dates and names, and returned on its own pages.

Is the translation certified?

No. A Glotbee translation is careful: it is reviewed, proofread, and checked against the original for numbers, dates and names. Courts, embassies and registries usually ask for a certified translation, though, which means a sworn translator’s stamp and signature. Glotbee Personal does not certify. You can download the translation as Word, so a sworn translator can review it, and sworn translators use Glotbee Professional to certify their work.

Why is there no free sample?

Before you pay, you see the exact price and the first page of your original, so you know what you are paying for. The full process runs on the whole document, from the first read to the final checks, so there is no single-page version of it to give away.
